A vast perennial, the silver arctotis creates a stunning silver-grey mat that can effortlessly blanket an area approximately 1.2 m wide, featuring upright stems and blooms that reach about 350 mm in height. The elongated, sprawling stems and foliage are soft, woolly, and somewhat sticky, emitting a potent bitter-sweet aroma upon contact. The white, felted leaves are elongated and narrow (lance-shaped), with edges that are slightly toothed or serrated.
