Buxus, commonly referred to as Boxwood or English Box, is an excellent choice for low hedges, adding structure to gardens with its finely textured edges that enhance lawns, pathways, and flower beds.
Another significant application of Buxus is in topiary, where it can be shaped into nearly any form, providing year-round structure to formal vegetable gardens.
Buxus plants are low-maintenance and adaptable to various conditions, thriving in both sunny and shaded areas with proper drainage. To establish a dense and continuous hedge, plant them 20cm apart, using a staggered arrangement for increased density.
