A resilient little plant that forms a cluster of delicately divided, fern-like foliage and delightful cup-shaped purple blooms, which are succeeded by feathery seed heads. Although it may take some time to get established, the wait is definitely worthwhile.  Thrives best in full sunlight, making it perfect for rock or gravel gardens, raised beds, or containers.  Plant in nutrient-rich, well-drained soil. Apply a layer of fine gravel mulch and be careful not to disturb the roots while weeding.
